Borders for framing

I would like to frame some prints. How much should I allow for borders on A1
A2 and A3 prints?

Hi Gerard
In my experience it is always better to have more than less. Open the image in Photoshop and go to the crop tool. Make sure any preset sizes are unchecked. Drag the crop around the entire image and then grab one corner with the cursor whilst holding the ALT ( or SHIFT, I'm not sure) and then drag out a canvas that looks pleasing. Use that ratio for your final print.
