Do real men ever submit?

Postby Matt. K on Sun Jun 03, 2007 5:57 pm

Am I the only one who hates pressing the 'SUBMIT' button when posting? And how would I feel if I was female? It must be the boy warrior in me but I would prefer the button to be renamed to 'SEND MESSAGE' or something similar.

I always tell myself it is just an abbreviation

As "Submit Information to company" or even "Submit Information" is too many words for many of the McDonalds generation of l33t TXT kiddies today.

I'm not adverse to being either the bitch or the bitchmaker.

To show you how flexible I am, I use custom submission buttons. Here are some screen grabs...

This is my "Preview" button:

I hope he didn't then hold up one of his and say "oh, you mean something like this?". Not that I could or want to imagine him doing that.

In respect to the two buttons, I would call the "Preview" button "Safety Word" and keep the "Submit" button as is. But I am not making any sense now.

There is no safety word for me, Patrick. We just wait till we see some rouge and ask questions at that point.

Ever heard the saying "let that one pass to the keeper"? I think I will do just that.
