I want that one (Pentax)If I sit in a wheelchair and speak with a thick cockney accent "I want that one", maybe they'll just give it to me:
http://www.dpreview.com/news/0706/07060 ... thdslr.asp A production model of that would be quite nice to see. Or even Nikon making something similar out of their Nikkormat or FE / FM models. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

K10D, man! I agree the good stuff is nearly impossible to obtain... but that's why a holiday to Japan serves such an awesome dual purpose!! Pentax istDS+K10D. Pentax 50mm f1.4, Sigma 10-20mm, Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro, Kit Lenses. http://www.redbubble.com/people/berndt2

Unless my salary performs some acrobatics I don't see any overseas trips anytime soon... Seriously, I like the pentax gear. However I'm growing out of the setup I have and want to get into off camera flash, grab some better glass, etc etc. Since I'm looking at some serious outlay I had to really consider the brand change. Getting anything other than 3rd party glass is a pain inside OZ care of CR Kennedy, who didn't help keep me with pentax last time I contacted them looking for stockists I might add, and there is just more 'stuff' around for the other brands (very scientific I now). Decision hasn't been made yet, no cash available, perhaps I should start a new thread to let the faithful convince me!
If you are going for a 50th anniversary, I would prefer this one. At least I can use my current lenses!
Regards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
