I was going to provide an answer regarding my opinion, but I think it perhaps best to defer discussing voting techniques until after the voting period ends. I would not want to influence anyone (assuming my opinion was capable of influencing anyone ).

It is a good questions and one in hindsight (perhaps) should of been addressed before the challenge started so everyone creating them could all be aware. Given that there hasn't been any guidelines I guess its up to the individuals interpretation.

It would be a good discussion in general, not just relating to tryptichs. For example, when assessing any image (voting in a comp or just perusing images in general), do you add weight to technical achievement or artistic impact? Can someone remember to start a thread on this next week (don't rely on me to do it as I may suddenly become unavailable)

In any endeavour, research is very important and can make the difference between success and failure.

I must admit that having to work in the photographic field and to listen to client briefs, makes one look and listen more carefully.
