PaperWhat paper do you print on?
I generally use Ilford Gallerie Smooth Pearl, but in a moment of fiscal madness, we bought a few sheets of Hahnemuhle rag paper. Very, very nice paper, but very expensive. I, today, bought some Epson Matte Heavyweight paper and it will be interesting to see how this one performs. So, what paper do you print on - for large, small or even smaller (4x6)? Regards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
Patrick - I use only Ilford Pearl Smooth Gallerie as well.
However, yesterday I was shown some AMAZING paper (made of cotton?!) but it was very expensive. $2.80 per sheet for A4. Wow - sounds like nice paper, Geoff. I was at Borges today and they do have some great paper.
The Hahnemuhle was something like $8 per A3+ sheet! Regards, Patrick

Borge also have there own labelled stock in AO size in boxes of 50 sheets at around $3:00 per sheet.......I use this stock and put it in the same class as Ilford and Epson and Hahnemuhle is fantastic..... but can you tell the difference from 10 feet...... Cheers ....bp....
