They are also available in Australia. I think I might have seen one in Camerahouse in Nowra.

They're actually somewhat flimsy. Fine for a phd; I doubt I'd put even a D40 or 300D on one with any confidence.

There's a bigger "Zoom SLR" version that claims to hold up to 3kg. It even uses a big white L lens in its advertising. Let the buyer beware, I guess.
