CS3Hi All,
Just loaded on CS3 today and my first impressions are WOW. I thought it would slow the system down bit is running smoother and quicker than I expected. There are some really nice touches to it. I particularly like the hiding palettes (more room for pic), improved curves interface, new selecting tools and better RAW convertor (still getting used to this). Bridge has also been improved although this is the one thing that does seem to be running a little slower than the original. Bridge is now a lot more clever and you can even preview images side by side. Thats all for now, Ants
The RAW converter in CS3 is certainly a big improvement over CS2. The clarity slide in particular looks like getting a good workout.

I waited for CS3 for my Macbook Intel for a while...
got it bout a month ago, and she fuckin flies! runs smooth as, and havent ahd any probs of other apps being slowed down while cs3 is running... and bridge, slow? no fuckin way... it used to be a clumbersome program that chugged hardcore on both mac and pc, but the cs3 ver is lightning fast!
Hi Bill, I'm running it on an iMac G5 2Ghz.... sitting here swearing at the moment though... trying to get it onto my iBook G4 and it doesn't want to go. About to have a serious chat with my laptop.... look away gentlemen!
Love the new ACR via Bridge; so many options so little time! I do, however, find Bridge misbehaves quite a bit (running both on my G4 laptop and G5 at work) and I've heard it's doing similar things on PCs. For instance, you edit a raw file in ACR and when you click Done it flicks back to Bridge (as to be expected) but then the file disappears momentarily - only to reappear with your changes! This doesn't happen every time, just the times you want to watch the funky transition from bland boring photo to beautiful new photo with lots of "clarity"! Also, if you like to shoot tethered and use Bridge as your viewer - every time you shoot vertically the photo does a somersault after a few seconds of being onscreen..not generally a problem unless you've pasted changes to it as they also will disappear!
CS2 Bridge didn't look anywhere near as nice, it just worked. I will add, the clarity slider is the best invention since double-clicking!
I paid $342 for the upgrade from a company in Brisbane.

Im loving my new CS3 Design Premium bundle!
...$600 UPG? I hope that was for the extended version of CS3... remember folks there are 2 versions available...
Add $10 courierage (is that even a word?) and it will get to your doorstep. Usual arrangement - Tax invoice provided from my photography business, pricing includes GST and is for an adobe australia boxed product. Direct Deposit preferred. Subject to availability from my supplier. Jonathan
Discovered why I cannot load CS3 onto my iBook G4.... I am running OSX 9.3.9. CS3 needs to be put onto a system using at least 9.4.8.
I think for now I am content to leave CS2 on the laptop for a couple of reasons... I do not do much PhotoShop work on the laptop anyway and from what I can tell, CS2 Bridge runs a little quicker than the CS3 Bridge.
