It's all happening!Workshop Uploads
For those of you who attended either Matt's Photo Workshop on May 26, or my portraiture workshop last Saturday, I need for you to now upload you files so that we may give them to our models. Please send me a PM and I'll give you site and login details for your use. We have our new challenge , the theme being Song Titles. The Gallery for Challenge 16 is now open! Click Here! Images are valid from: Tue Jun 19, 2007 3:56 pm Gallery closes for voting 5pm July 22! Timesnap #2 is now on the way to becoming a reality. Get your 50mm primes ready. And of course, the Anniversary Weekend is coming up far more quickly than any of us would care to admit to. Here's what's lined up this far: August 4 - Saturday 9:00 am - Ferry Hop on Sydney Harbour. We'll have more to say on this in the next few days. 10:30 am Portraiture Workshop - Balmain. Bookings are essential for this, and the day is already fully subscribed. There will be a small cost to contribute towards the venue hire. 1:00 pm. The Ferry-Hop people will be joining the portraiture workshop group for light refreshments/lunch in Balmain, before continuing their trek around the harbour. 7:00 pm Presentation Dinner. This is where the party really gets going. Prizes will be awarded for such things as the AW challenge (yes, we already have the theme in mind) as well as for a few other notable achievements. I also expect to have a few freebies and surprises available for those in attendance, so please keep this night free. We have exclusive use of a small-ish restaurant on the inner north shore - the same venue where we so enjoyed our Christmas dinner last year - and the cost is $40 per person. Because the venue is small, we'll be restricting numbers. Please make your bookings here, noting that bookings are only confirmed after your payment has been made. August 5 - Sunday There will be a family picnic, recovery session, and swapmeet. If you have some stuff you want to offload - this may be the chance. if you just want to get out with the family and chill ... this may be the chance. Or if you want to get out to somewhere pretty and make some images ... yep, this will be your chance. Last edited by gstark on Thu Jun 21, 2007 1:21 pm, edited 1 time in total.

You should get an email response, with details of my bank account. There's also a link to a second form where you should let me know that you've paid. FWIW, we are already holding 25% of our bookings now. g.

Stupid job. Once again, I can't make it. One year I promise to make it to the AW.

I will speak with Alicia and see whether we want to get a babysitter for then - Alex will be 2 months (-1 day) by then.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
