Compact flash cardsWhere is the best place to get.
A couple of weeks ago someone recommended a place in Melb but I can't find the post now. Any ideas. Looking at a 4 gig card for a D200. What speed do I need? D700, 50 1.8, 14-24 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 70-200VR, 80-400VR, SB800 plus a lot of gadgets
I got mines from http://www.centre.net.au/
Reliable service and they're quick on delivery. Got on my doors on the 3rd day after order. Prices are quite good for Sandisk cards considering they're local Australian dealer. Speed wise, if you planning to do plenty of high speed bursts, you might want a faster card (133x or Extreme III). But the buffer in the D200 is big enough to support a long burst of RAW files. I use Ultra II cards and some other 80x and 100x, can't really see the difference on camera, but will make a difference when transfering back to the computer using a card reader.
