Sydney early evening shoot next week?

Postby ozimax on Tue Jul 03, 2007 9:31 am

Hi folks in Sydneyland,

I will be working in the big smoke from Mon 9th - Fri 13th July and will have a couple of spare afternoons. If anyone is interested in having a late afternoon/early evening photo shoot next week in or around the city, please let me know. The only days I have available are Tuesday and Thursday.

If it's too short notice, I will understand.

Many thanks,

Ozi.

Thursday would be fine for me, I can meet anywhere (I'm staying out Bankstown way), I am right near a train station so transport is no problem.

I was thinking of the standard Quay-Bridge-Opera House-Rocks-whatever type area. I'm finished work about 2pm on the Thursday so anytime around 3-4pm or after would be fine by me.

Sounds great to me, maybe we could meet somewhere convenient (Opera house steps??) and snap a few pics of the ol' Kittyhawk.

Sounds great, I might head in a tad earlier and try and get a few daylight shots then head back to the OH steps at 5.30pm.

Looks like the 12th July is the go?? I should be right for that evening.
I can possibly get off work at around 4:00 pm which may give enough time to get over and get some shots of the Kitty - if she is still there and if anyone is keen on that. Then rushing to get back to the SOH for a 5:30 pm meet and get some shots around the quay and rocks area??

Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Can anyone make it a bit earlier?

It's pretty dark by 5:30pm these days so it might be an idea to ty and get to the Opera House a little earlier.

4:30pm? (have to con the boss into an early mark  )

4.30pm is fine by me, anyone who can come early can do so, others can join at 5.30 after finish work etc. I'll aim on being there by 4.30pm. I can PM anyone who needs my mobile no.

I haven't taken my poor old camera out for months! It's feeling very unloved - so I think this is the perfect excuse. I finish work at 5, and can probably be at circular quay by about 5:40ish? Ozi can you PM me your number?

I'll second that comment, very enjoyable if somewhat frosty evening as the temps plummeted to around -45 C in my humble opinion and estimation... :)

Thanks to all, and a special thanks to Firsty for the inspiration to photograph a number of lampshades...images to follow!
