Wow! now this is a lens....time to sell the property and all belongings.....

Tripod? I think even a gitzo would break at the seems with that monster on it. That said I think it would just rip the F-Mount straight out of the D70 if anyone ever tried to hand shoot anything with it.
Imagine it with a 1.4 TC ... At F5.6 you really wouldn't want anymore than that and even then I have to ask why you wouldn't just buy a telescope instead? Add some macro extension tubes ...
