SL - see my directions for Ladybird above. I'm not sure what side of town you're coming from but every street directory will have the corner of Gregory and Wickham Terraces in it. From there, it's just as I told Ladybird - you jsut drive straight ahead into the park.
I've PMed you my mobile number anyway.

I'm coming from Kingston, and I dont particularly like the thought of getting the train home at night, so I'll most likely drive. I do have a refidex and can generally find my way to wherever I need to go.
I do though need good clear details on exactly where in roma street parklands I'll find everyone. So far I've only been there once, for the zombie walk and that was straight from the train station

It's where the main walkway/bridge meets the road. Virtually impossible to miss, even for someone distracted by chocolate or men in g-strings. Call me if you have to and all will be well.

You're such a sweety Manta, you better not be really cute and shaggable too, or I might just try and hit on you!
Worst case scenario, I'll just walk around looking like a blonde idiot till someone feels sorry for me and points me in the right direction.

Aww thank you for that Bindii, where is Meadowbrook? I'd be happy to follow you in, I tend to get a little stressed in the city, anywhere else I'm perfectly comfortable to get to, but the city eeeeek.
Oh and Manta, I promise I'll behave. I'll leave ya alone.

pity I moved..... but take up a collection for an airfare for me and I could come up and show all....... hint, just add a white and 2 black reflectors to the lighting setup and you will be able to create fantastic results........

Ladybird
Cricketfan
Big Pix (if we pay his airfare)
Any others at this stage??
We need to think about a nosh stop for once the sun goes down as well. Any suggestions??

I'm a possible starter.
Lance may also come too.
I hate to sound unsure but there is a gig pending that needs to be confirmed.
If I am lucky enough to make, is there anyone able to show how to do a wet sensor clean?
All I know, is that I don't know enough.....

Tony there will be at least 2 people in attendance who can show you how to clean your sensor.
I will bring the gear in

Thanks Steve. I know everyone says it is very simple (which works for me), but I'd be a lot happier watching someone do it for the first time. Lance's D70 has more dusty bunnies than the rabbit proof fence
Cheers

Rain....... some people are very optimistic, you guys wouldn't believe the amount of printing I've been doing for Rain Water Tank companies and installers.....
They're selling them hand over fist...
Still no rain though...
When it does rain, with the amount of tanks out there at the moment I doubt if a drop will actually hit the ground... It will all go into tank storage....
All I know, is that I don't know enough.....

I'm going to have to now pass on this saturday's get together. I have both saturday and sunday now booked to photograph a 2 day event.
I was really looking forward to meeting everyone, but hopefully there will be another one soon, or I can just arrange to meet individuals as they have time.
