Picture of the Week 31.07.07

Postby Geoff on Tue Jul 31, 2007 12:03 pm

This week's POTW is awarded to Kris for his beautifully sharp and well defined image of the Louvre. His PP on this high dynamic range image has really appealed to me. The patience required to take this shot, as well as the 'placement' of the people in the image is great. The people perspective adds to the image immensely.

The original thread can be found here and the actual image...well here it is:

Well done Kris!

I've seen some truly ordinary looking HDR images (mostly mine) but this is anything BUT ordinary. When viewing this and considering the technique used to achieve it, I can't help but think "NOW I get it!!"

Great shot and fantastic PP, Kris. Congratulations.

Top pick Geoff.
