Is it a tree or a bird?This little fellow (Frog Mouth Owl) was sitting on a branch and I really did not know he was there until he opened his eye

What lens? So nice and sharp, with his eye looking off it's like he doesn't even see you (or maybe it thinks that you can't see him?). Lovely pic, although, ahem, wish I could see his whole body...is that another one right beside him?
dooda - 28-105mm Nikkor and that is his/her mum to the right. If I had not got in this close it would have been just another pic of a tree
