Looking at his images I'd say it's a fair bet that he is using the AutoFX Mystical Lighting plugin for Photoshop.

There are some decent photos here but all I could think of was PHOTOSHOP OVERLOAD!!!!

Thanks for sharing this site. I agree with Michael that it is hard to know where photography ends and Photoshop begins, but there is now doubt there are beautiful images despite the fact they seem staged and many of them are too contrived for my taste. However, I would love to have just 10% of both the photographic and Photoshop skills exhibited in this site.

The style his is playing with is a common way of expressing Art in Indonesia.
Similar to the below paintings made by street artists. You can see the similarity in the style with "real" paintings.

This image was made back in 1979 (hence the Flares) These paintings were commonly sold along the roadside in Indonesian Cities. This is in North Sumatera. This image has been blown up and resized so is not the best.
