***rant hat on***

My image that got POTW was used by the Police for the front cover of the services weekly magazine. My images were also used on pages 1, 3,4,5,6,7 and back cover.

Most of the images in the article were mine.

So, who gets the credit? The Police Media Unit and Daily Telegraph!

BUGGER!!!!!!

But, I did get a sincere apology.

Grrrrr, what can you do?

You should write a nice letter to the editor pointing out their error, and asking - insisting even - that the public record be corrected.

As your image was considered good enough for front page publication, that is where the correction needs to go.

My question is - how did they get hold of them? Secondly, if you were participating in the event on an official basis, i.e. working for the police, would they not hold copyright?

Now, the tricky one, you are a policeman - go arrest the bastards for theft if the second condition above is not true

What a cow. At least we know who took them. You deserve to be acknowledged for your work, but Government departments don't give a stuff about individuals, as a rule.

Excellent point Gary, and fair enough comment in my book.
