Thailand Food and Foto TourHey Guys,
Saw this in my local Camera store... Looks like it will be an awesome event.... I'd love to take the g/f, but we have Australia Day commitments already... still, someone else may be interetsed.. Cheers Jason
Looks cool. Pity it's twin share.
Steve.

That’s my problem as well Steve - I don’t have a twin Chris

Perhaps someone can share their twin with you? Regards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
One of the Veronicas perhaps. Either one will do. Steve.

Really? Why not the Blakeny twins (c1980s)? Can you guess what word I'm thinking of? And it's not kitty Regards, Patrick

On a more serious note, it really pisses me off if you are single as all deals are based on sharing. If you don’t share it costs and arm and a leg

I'll second that. And they usually put the twin share bit in microscopic print somewhere. Peter

Extremely overpriced. There are many companies within Thailand who will do this kind of thing for less than half price, not to mention visiting more interesting, non-tourist places within the kindgdom.
Alex
Ditto. Having visited Thailand and having family living there as Expats, I would say this is a bit overpriced.
Bai-Pai cooking school is great, done a few of their courses, its only about $100 Aud for a course. 2 days in Ayuthaya is a fairly long time, Prob OK for a Photog, but I have done it a few times and always am over it by the time 8 hours has gone by. One trick in Thailand (BKK) if you havent got time or funds to visit all the temples/etc etc. You can do nearly all of it in a day! Just head to the Ancient City (Mueang Boran) about 25-30 kms out of Bangkok near the Mouth of the river. This is a huge plot of land shaped exactly like thailand, and has reconstructions of all the major temples and palaces etc. Well worth a visit. A lot of the postcard pictures are actually done here instead of the real temples! (Look up Mueang Boran on wikipedia for info.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mueang_Boran
I guess they are catering to the person that wants an "all inclusive" trip where they don't have to sit down for weeks and plan what and where they will be going, how they are going to get there and back, where to stay etc etc...
I guess you pay for convenience... (and the fact you have two aussie tour guides that are pretty good photography tutors as well)...
