Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

This weeks Picture of the Week is by Rooboy (Patrick). A tremendous 30 second exposure he took at Kosciuszko National Park which has great detail in the sky (note the frypan) whilst having an other worldy feel to the foreground. Congrats Patrick (is this your second POTW ?) Regardless well done a very deserving image, nice to know that even when you don't get the the shots you intend to on a outing you can come back with some stella shots.

Can't wait to go down again - next stop is the Ramshead pre-dawn.

Thanks again for that great little torch Glen - I did completely drain its batteries, but it was incredibly useful :)
