Went out to Currarong today and walked halfway around the headland and found this spot:

I really don't know the best way to show the picture... but it's the first pic in my gallery here: http://www.ausphotos.com/gallery/v/Shoalhaven/ the next is from currarong beach whilst the third is on the way to the first image.

Definitely heading back at sunrise one day - anyone like to join me then just yell out.

You've got some great images in your shoalhaven collection - one of my favourite places for photographic exploring!. There's something interesting, especially landscapes, everywhere :D

This image is really good:

which part of St. Georges Basin? Of all the years I've been going down to the basin, I either missed a decent lightning show or not had my camera with me!

I also like this image:

Can't quite put my finger on it, but the small amout of movement in the wave adds a lot of interest.

Thanks Daniel.

The first shot was actually a composite with the lightning taken from a photo out at worrigee. I'm not really sure where that wharf is... I just stumbled across it one evening.

The second shot was out at currarong beach, however it got all blurry from my conversion to 'net size... really must fix that up.

Thanks for checking it out mate.
Owen.

I was sure I had seen it on this forum- here it is!! Great image by the way,

hehe the advantages of working in IT for the council down here :) A little bit of self promotion. I used to rotate the images weekly but ran out of new ones a few months ago. (Hasn't led to any sales though!)

Feel free to borrow some of mine. :)

Currarong is on the list of places to get to for a sunrise shoot. :)
