My decision between a 10-20mm Sigma and the Nikon 10.5, was the Sigma...... Working with the Sigma was a joy, as shooting very large structures, and having lots of room, it was easy to keep the distorting down to a minium....... here is one at 10mm.......

No doubt the 10-20 is also much more versatile too, giving you a bit more flexibility. Your image certainly shows how wide the thing goes :)

Hey Bernie, thanks for the post. I am scheduled to be in NZ for 5 weeks as from next month, and I need to get a super wide angle lens for the trip.

I am pretty confused as to which lens to go for, be it Sigma 10-20, Canon 10-22, Sigma 14mm prime, Sigma 12-24 or Tokina 10-20. I think the Sigma 10-20 is the cheapest of the lot and seems to have a good following on this forum.

Any further comments?

if you are ever thinking of getting a full frame camera body the choice would be the Sigma 12-24....... as this lens works well on both the DX crop and full frame.......

10 - 20 is a fine piece of glass, and is great on the dx sensor's, not sure about full frame camera bodys....... maybe someone has this setup
