Picture Of The Week - September 11, 2007

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Picture Of The Week - September 11, 2007

Postby Nnnnsic on Tue Sep 11, 2007 11:12 pm

I don't get a lot of time anymore (aggg!!! work!!!) but when I do get some time, checking out some of the talent that graces these forums is on the to do list.

So today I was blown away by the sheer brilliance of this brilliant picture by Ozimax.

Image

It's got it down in composition, colour, and I personally love it.

Congratulations Ozimax :)

Thanks Leigh, and all the others for the kind comments, it's very humbling to be put in this category with all the outstanding photographers/images on this forum, many thanks also to my father-in-law for supplying the orchid and to the good Lord for inventing it in the first place!
