May I borrow: Macro Lens?

Postby Yi-P on Tue Sep 11, 2007 9:53 pm

Hi,

I'm setting off for a short day trip to Canberra Floriade with the family in 2 weeks time (weekend of the 21/sept). Would love to bring a macro lens with me, tho I don't have any macro lens except my reversing setup, which is not best idea for flower works.

Anyone could lend me macro lens (nikon mount) that is not using for that weekend? I'm not too fuzzed about which one, just that it can go down to 1:2 or 1:1 magnification, I'm happy :D
Extension ring can also do the job (given they are metered/AI-coupled).

Please PM me if you got one :D
Any help much appreciated!

Yi-P, you can borrow mine if you pick it up at North Ryde (or Toongabbie a/h). It's the 55mm f/2.8 AiS, plus PK-13 ring.

It does 1:2, or 1:1 with PK-13, and works perfectly on a D2*.

Cheers
Steffen.

I may be able to help out.
I am in inner Canberra and have a 105VR, but I am not sure yet whether I will be in Canberra or Wentworth Falls that weekend.

Thanks for the generous offers!!

Before I plan my trip to North Ryde, anyone living or work close enough in the city (or any major train station) has one to offer? I don't have my own vehicle and may be a bit hard to get around :(
