ANZANG 2007 competition results

Postby radar on Tue Sep 18, 2007 10:56 am

Hi,

The ANZANG 2007 results can be found at the link below.
http://www.anzangnature.com/

There are some great nature photos to see there. A few members are in there. Nicole Booker, who used to post here, won the Threatened Animals and Plants. Michael Snedic, aka Finch, has two photos in the Highly Commended.

Anybody else from the forums that I missed?

The overall winner - Ofer Levy, has got an amazing capture of a black shouldered kite.

Entries for the 2008 competition close on May 1st next year :D

Cheers,

André

Great competition - will try to get an entry (ies) in for 2008!

There are some excellent shots there, too - thanks for the heads up!

Thanks, Andre.

Nice of you to mention my two highly commended awards with this year's ANZANG nature photography competition. My pic of a Pacific Baza with chich was highly commended in the Animal Behaviour section and my shot of a Northern Quoll was highly commended in the Threatened Animal and Plant section.

There were over 1250 entries this year so I was quite pleased with my results.

Ofer Levy's winning shot of a Black-winged Kite in flight, holding a mouse, is a classic!

Cheers
