Just got back from New York Fashion Week

here are soem pics of other backstage photographers and their modified
light shaping tools

must say the new yorkers werent as innovative as the italians opting for standard softboxes but there were a few innovations

interesting to see the mods backstage. the softboxes looked pretty cumbersome but cool

cool stuff

Notice how practical the Aussie is with his Sausepan ... Take a few photos ... get hungry ... throw some Bacon & eggs inthe Sauspan ... quick wipe and cool down, reconnect the flash and back into the photos

Makes sense to me :)

Surprised he didn't use a mini Webber then. He can bring out the tray, hold a bbq then pop it back on.

I agree, always fascinating to see these behind-the-scenes shots Wendell. As for your images, they are always of the most exacting standard.

I might give the saucepan idea a go, or maybe I could use my wife's new wok? :D
