In case you haven't seen enough of them.

These are for sport photogs. The photos were taken with a variety of lenses, one being the new 500mm AFS VR.

That third one is a ring in. That is not the same game :) Pedroia plays for the BoSox all the other shots are the Yankees...

I don't know about the effect the D-Lighting gives, it looks a little unnatural compared to the other images (this was image 2).

I am impressed with the results, you can see the noise there but it is well managed and blends well with the image as a whole.

The one of Giambi (image 4) is fantastic, really shows the usability of High ISO in the lighting conditions.

Whilst the last one is good from a noise perspective it could be sharper...

Great find though the body and lenses seem to be up to the task!

André,

The ISO 1600 and 3200 are brilliant. Almost no noise at all. The swan (@400) and monkey (@ 1600) are just so good!

The Monkey shot at 1600 is awesome...And the swan is so sharp at 100%.

I'm scared to go over 800 on my D70. If I could get results like that at 1600 for the band stuff, then I might even be able to use crazy shutter speeds like 1/125! Wow!
