NSFW: On the beach with Chiara and LaurenThis was my first time out on location in what was pretty difficult conditions.

Yes, very difficult conditions with very harsh bright light. I thinkt the first one is spoiled by the extremely bright sun. It may have been too bright to get a good balance of exposure of your model as she seems to have too much fill flash.
I think the 3rd is the better of the group. I don't envy you shooting in that much light. Steve.

Of these, I prefer the 3rd.
The bright light in#1 detracts. I would like to see some fill flash in #2, The almost silhouette in #2 does not look quite right to me. It should be either all black, and see no real detail, or lit enough to see detail. The 2 girls don't look entirely comfortable in #4, its a funny angle and a very tight crop. The lighting looks about right in #3, and both the background and model seem properly exposed. Just my 2c worth. Nice models though. Russell

The sig on the photos....it hurts my eyes!
IMHO, that sig ruins the photos. The photos themselves aren't bad. Maybe try and shoot different angles to reduce the light a bit. The fill flash on #1 seems to be fighting with the back lighting.
