Kids Football GalleryI just started taking football pics a week ago (after a 25 year hiatus) and am starting to get the hang of it. Even making a little side money which is always nice. I'd be very curious to hear what you think, both of the photos and the site design. The first batch of photos weren't that great as I was getting used to everything along with a new 70-200vr.
Just a few of my faves: My new site: http://www.oregonlens.com Nikon D200 w/ 18-70mm Kit Lens, Nikkor 70-200VR, Nikon 50mm 1.8, Sigma 10-20mm and SB800 | http://www.jeffandjean.smugmug.com
I think they are great. Very sharp and clear and good colours. I probably prefer the 2nd and 3rd as the faces aren't obscured. The site looks good too - simple and easy to navigate. The only thing I would comment on is that there are 28 pages from one football game. If I was a parent, I probably wouldn't want to look through 400 odd pictures to find my child (it's not possible to see who they are in the thumbnail view). BUT, I'm not sure how you could get around this.

Thanks for the kind words. I know EXACTLY what you mean! I've thought about possibly taking the time to go through them and putting the jersey number of each photo into the photo comments so that people could then just search. The other option would be to only post the Top 10 or 20, but then a number of the players would be left out and then those parents would be alienated. What a quandry.
