Questions regarding canvas printingAny recommendations regarding good places to get photos printed onto canvas in Perth ? (I realise my location states that I am in Adelaide, but I am only here temporarily till January) A lot of the film processing outlets nowadays in the shopping centres are offering the service, but I wonder what the quality is like compared to specialist centres ? We took some awesome shots of the kids yesterday, and are really inspired to put them up onto canvas.
Also, any tips with regards to photos for printing in canvasses ? ie. colour / background / etc ? The photos we shot were indoors, and we have a few that we like, but they are not razor sharp, but hopefully that won't be too obvious when put onto canvasses. Thanks
not sure if you saw this ....

That link goes to a post in the "Members' Discounts" section which you don't yet have access to. I haven't done a canvas print yet, certainly not in Perth... Sorry. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

Re: Questions regarding canvas printing
G'day A guy in the same camera club as me does printing. http://www.katamanti.com.au/ It is more a retirement income for him rather than him running a full blown professional printers but the quality, service and prices are the best I've ever experienced. The largest canvas he's done for me was 1200mm * 800mm but nobody can fault it. Cheers Bob in Bullcreek
Re: Questions regarding canvas printingI just had a 30"x10" print done by genius printing.
They do custom sizes which doesn't seem too common, and I was very happy with the price and result. They're in Melbourne, but ship Australia wide for reasonable rates. [I have no association with the company other than being a happy customer]
