Portrait classes...

Postby Escapism on Mon Oct 22, 2007 5:35 pm

Howdy folks

Quick question...

I would like to extend my skill set into an area I have not yet visited, namely portaits. Does anyone know of classes that may run in the Perth area that deal with lighting, composition etc etc?

Cheers

I run a self-portrait class but the class is kept to a minimum size of 1 for obvious reasons. :D :D :D And I constantly fail! :(
You might try approaching some local professionals and offer to help out in return for lessons?

G'day

I think a session where a handful of folks get together and share their knowlege while doing a little learning is a nice way to go.

A studio and lights can be hired for under $100 for an evening, a few "subjects" can be arranged even if it is only each other. So we end up with a bit of practice for the cost of a bottle of wine or a few beers.

How many on Perth want to have a portraiture workshop?

I need to get back to organising the Brisbane one, and maybe we should also see about Perth and Adelaide?
