Snow gum

I have been in love the snow gum since my first trip to the snow back 20 years ago. I am yet to take that shot that captures them for me.....but Ill keep trying :)

These were taken at the top at Charlottes pass, actually this tree is on the roundabout! The weather was rainy but the wind- those of you who go to the snow regularly will know how it can blow. On this occaision I had a hand held anemometer and it was gusting up to 125kmh. I didnt even get out of the car for these shots, taken from drivers seat.

Stunning pictures of an amazing tree. Love that "tortured" look.
Number 2 and 3 are my pick.
For me the yellow background in #1 is a little odd.

I know that tree. I have been past it many a time.
#2 then #1 for me.
#3 is a bit too "high gloss" for my taste. Yes I know it is just he rain slick but I still find it off putting.
