Picture Of The Week - November 6, 2007

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Picture Of The Week - November 6, 2007

Postby Nnnnsic on Wed Nov 07, 2007 12:13 am

With the amount of high quality images this week, my job has been made especially hard.

So Slider... my hat goes off to you this week... for the stunning frogger image. :)

Beautiful frog you got there Mark, well chosen Leigh. Having been called a frog on a number of occasions, I always appreciate a good photo of one

The best frog photo I've seen for a long while, Mark. Excellent choice Leigh. Looks like an old boss of mine, who was known as "Croker". Very similar profile.

Well done, Mark!!!

The wonderful thing is that you used this frog as an example to our paying photography workshop participants, showing them how its done, and you end up with this ripper!

Well composed, great DOF and sharp as ever :D

Congrats again on a well-deserved POW

Woo Hoo : D

Thanks for the kind words folks.

Thanks for choosing my shot Leigh. It was probably within the first 20 taken with that lens so that is even more pleasing. I'm loving it already..
