Wow! That second image is absolutely stunning! Its a combination of desaturation, lighting, composition... all of it. The mood of that photo is brilliant! I think its the depth of the eyes that really gets me. They draw you into the photo. I don't think you could do anything differently on that one. Just wow. Wow Wow Wow. Nice work.

Lovely series Bindii, but #2 is special.
She looks inscrutable and sphinx-like!
Cat-chlights in her eyes just draw me in.

They are all great shots Bindi, but number two does take the cake. I just love the way black and white brings out the texture in the fur.

Bindii, these are all beautiful shots of the cat, I too love the 2nd image the most. Your conversion to B&W is great. I'm not a cat lover, but I really like these shots - well done.

#2 outshines all pussy shots I have ever seen - print and hang (the pic, not the cat)

Great shots, #1 sums up cats perrrrffeectly :p
Oh, btw, to answer your question....
Remember...
1. You can train a dog... You have to con a cat..
2. Dogs will listen and obey... Cats will take a message and get back to you.... maybe...

You certainly have done an excellent job with #2, as others have said.
It is a classic feline portrait. She has deigned to let you take this portrait and presented her full regal bearing for the purpose. Then like any other VIP (Very Important Pussycat), quickly grew tired of you futzing with cameras and the like.
You have a stunner of an image on your hands!

Thanks guys... I was a little unsure of the mono one at first as I thought that maybe the brow was slightly blown... but I've had it printed for her and its fine...
surprisingly she has had the colour one done as a 14 x 11 with a border (see below)..... it looks good but the mono I felt has a little more punch... still if we all liked the same thing then what a boring place the world would be...
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...

Enough about number two. It is brilliant. Number 3 is the one I like. Shame there is a feline in it.
