A Play With Tones - Tastefull Modelling ShotsReally would love some opinions on whether these tones work or not....i LOVE metallics at the moment and i am trying to get some old film like tones in my newer work, grain included
Thanks your opinions are greatly appreciated Dan
hi dan, I like the treatment, its unique, not overdone.
#3 I like a lot! I like these as they are nice natural skin textures, not too barbie. pleasure to watch your style evolve
Thanks Bruce the feeling is VERY mutual Dan
All of these are excellent. The last image has a great range of tones in it and appeals most to me in the context you have given. Are you using a film curve to achieve a common outcome or PP though photoshop individually? Were the shadows part of the look you intended? I only ask as you seem to have such good control over light in the rest of the image I assume you intended this, though I don't like the shadow cast from the leg on the last image. Thanks for sharing.
In the end we know Nothing, but in the meantime Learn like crazy.

The last one is the pick here - she looks a bit like Dita Von Teese. There's something bizarre going on with the model's arm in the 3rd pic (her left, our right). Her muscles look like they have tumours - very odd shaped.

Come follow the rabbit hole...
lol ok then I am working on some presets in photoshop.......tweaking here and there Dargan, all the images are softbox very simple lighting techniques, no secrets i have lol, and thanks for your kind words Thanks guys Dan

#1 is a very strong image.

I would have to say #3 and #4. I find #1 too robotic for my tastes (although that may be what you are going for)

I think the last one is the pic of the bunch.. although they are all good as always... I don't mind the tones as they arent overdone..
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
I am with Trevor and think that #1 is the pick of the bunch here. Very strong
