This is proving to be a very popular piece of gear at the moment .... I have a lot of pro friends who have either bought one recently or are looking to buy one. One of the more notable users is Trent Parke although I think I prefer Trent's work with a Leica.

From what I hear, the best way to use it is to shoot Kodak Porta film and then scanning it.... the results will leave the Canon 1DsMkIII looking like a point and shoot!

I was planning on shooting some of the new Velvia 50 and seeing how that goes, will have to add Porta to the shopping list as well.

I got the kit with the 80mm f4, might have to invest in one of the uber wide lenses... will have to save for a while first...

I should be receiving my new toy (which also uses film) later this week or early next week - it is a little smaller than Trotkiller's, a little less black, uses 35mm film, is an SLR and is about 45 years older! Any guesses?

We already have a MF SLR - we were keen to look at a MF rangefinder as a less bulky alternative.

That's the beauty of the Pentax, it's not box shaped like the Bronica, it looks just like a 35mm SLR only bigger. A vintage MF rangefinder would only be marginally smaller and you loose the ability to swap lenses.

I was thinking the 43mm... but the 65 is also quite tempting being a fair bit cheaper....
