Picture of the Week 13th November 2007

Postby Geoff on Wed Nov 14, 2007 9:50 am

The number of image posts seems to be on the increase again, which makes our jobs harder (but equally enjoyable!). Choices weren't easy this week, but one that really appealed to me was from Bindii, and her cat! Not being a cat lover and liking a photo of a cat was enough to make me choose the 2nd image in this series the stand out for me!

The lighting, the composition, the textures and the magic eye contact that has been achieved makes this a winner!!

Well done Bindii (Sue) on this outstanding image!!

Bravo! Terrific feline portrait.

For the non-lovers of cats, just forget about the subject for a minute. This is still an image to be very proud of - the composition, the detail, the lighting and the PP work make it an outstanding PotW.

Congrats Sue, and well selected Geoff.

this is one of the few pics of cats I have found interesting. I looked at this for some time indeed, and love the PP treatment to bring the character out from the arm chair.

your subtraction of color has increased the textures, and is grabbing. very nice indeed. :D

Only saw the original post this morning and made a comment, I was going to say that I thought it would be in the running for POTW.
I was not the only one to think this. Well done and congratulations.
