Photoshop CS3 classroom style workshopsHi all,
I know there are millions (probably more!!!) tutorials on the web for photoshop but I personally learn much better when someone shows me how to do something in person. Are there any photoshop courses in Sydney that you have been on and recommend? Can be a one day workshop or 3 day course, doesn't matter. Just looking for a good place to be shown the basics to intermediate level. If the course was aimed towards photographers that would be a plus. Look forward to any recommendations. Cheers, W00DY Andrew

If we can get the numbers, (about 6 or and a venue then I would be happy to run a beginners w/shop. Can I suggest you put out some feelers through the forum and put Gary in the loop to get things started. Regards

we flew MattK to melbourne, and together with DaveB, and a few other generous members, had a very productive PS workshop. Much preferred as its from a photographers percpective, not other graphic design stuff...
I would fly up from Adelaide for a PS course so please count me in if one goes ahead
Or if anyone in Adelaide is willing to show an old dog some new tricks that would be good too I have some radiant vista tutorials & a cpl of CS2 e-books but nothing like hands on Warren aka aussichef Nikon D50/D80 Nikon,MB-D80 70-200 2.8 VR,Sigma 18-50 2.8, Kenko 1.4x TC, 2 kit lenses ,Nikon 50mm f1.8 Nikon SB-600 Tamron 90mm 2.8 Canon 500D closeup lens
I would also be very interested in taking part as well.
There are still many things I can learn in CS 2/3 Cheers Marc D4|D3S|D700+MB-D10| 14-24 |24-70|70-200 f/2.8 VRII|70-200 f/4 VR|80-400 AF-S|500VR|Sigma 150 f/2.8 macro|TC's 1.4,1.7E & 2.0III|SB 900

Wow...
Make a post on a Saturday, come back on a Monday and something is already happening Thanks Matt for you generous offer, it would be much appreciated from many members I imagine. Gary - If you need a hand setting this thing up please let me I know. As I am responsible for the initial idea I better help in some way. If possible can we make it a hands on course. I have a Mac laptop and maybe others have similar who could bring them along. I personally learn a lot more from doing than watching. Probably to early in the planning to be talking timeframes but something this year or early Jan would be good. My lack of PP knowledge is really start to get to me, so I need to do something about it Look forward to seeing this evolve. W00DY PS: Gary can you please include Rick and one other (yet to be a member but will be once they fly back into Oz this week) for me on the attendees list. Andrew

Well I have a MacPro, but as much as it hurts me to say Photoshop does not always run that smoothly on it Waiting to order my 24'' iMac which should improve things. My coffee machine is also packed away as we are moving house!!! And I don't have an availabel hall for us to use!!! Not very helpful I'm afraid Andrew

I've got a MacBook Pro with CS3 that runs smoothly on it
