Rick and I went... The camera stayed in the bag and the beers went down very easily Nice to (briefly) meet everyone. Sorry, but after a hectic morning getting the kids top stay interested in a Xmas parade for 2.5 hours the only thing we wanted (needed) was a beer. Andrew

I've just dropped Bindi at her hotel. During the day we ... Did the meet as advised, followed by a beer or three at King St Wharf. We then went to Alexandria, to collect a package from FedUp. Then we went to the Botany View Hotel. The more astute amongst you will note the the Botany View is not in Botany, nor is it near Botany Rd, nor does it have any sort of a view. But the jack and coke was cold, the blues was hot, and the D300 was unpacked, fitted with a strap, battery, CF card, and 85 f/1.4, and fired off! Smudge arrived to help us enjoy the music ... The King Brothers (Foreday Riders) prevailed before Bindi and I headed off to Bootiful downtown Burwood where I did my Sunday night Election special radio show, and then we drove - topless - to Maisies in Neutral Bay for some supper, before I finally dropped her back at her hotel. g.

It was an enjoyable afternoon, and I sun-burned my face...
Sue turned out to be really camera shy (but of course you can't beat 17mm ): We took a stroll around Darling Harbour, and returned to some drinks and snacks, and the old "shooting each other shooting each other" routine: I had to leave it there, apparently only to miss the hottest part of the day. So much from me in a hurry. Cheers Steffen. Last edited by Steffen on Mon Nov 26, 2007 11:11 am, edited 1 time in total.
