Hi everyone
For those of you who subscribe to or buy copies of Australian Photography Magazine, the Dec 07 issue (released in the last day or so) features my article/photos on Australian mammal photography techniques.
If you are interested, its a 4-page layout on page 38.
Cheers
Michael

Hi all
Yes, it sure is rewarding to get features published on a regular basis in the top-selling photography magazine in the country.
Thanks for all your positive remarks

I received an email from one of the forum members yesterday, asking what type of lighting I used for the Eastern Pygmy Possum shot that is a feature of my article this month in Australian Photography Magazine (and my avatar).
I used 3 flash units, all diffused. One was above and the other two positioned left and right, just above head height.
Cheers

Thanks Matt
My photography is already part of my profession I'm employed part-time and for the rest of my time I'm a nature photographer, where my photographic income is earned from photo sales to various magazines, book publishers, calendars, diaries, display boards etc. I'm also a writer for various nature-based and photography magazines as well as running nature photography workshops with my good mate and business partner, Mark Rayner (Slider), called Trekabout Photography Workshops.
Life is incredibly busy but rewarding as heck
