Probably superfluous but what was the lens? Just a niggly thought but I hope this D300 doesn't make it too easy to be the world class photographers we all aspire to :o These are very nice images.
In the end we know Nothing, but in the meantime Learn like crazy.

Wow, the first shot is bloody excellent!! Did you use the automatic zoom tracking feature or whatever it's called?
I'm getting my D300 early next year - the lust builds with every D300 photo I see :)

These aren't my shots. They were shot by two different people who are members of NSN.
