PotW 4 December 2007Yes, I'm a few hours early, but I won't be near the forum at all till late tuesday.
This week, as usual, there were a lot of fine images posted, but my choice this week is a shot that stuck with me once I'd seen it. This image is a fantastic example of how composition and the "technical" camera choices (like the aperture choice here to give a reasonably shallow DOF) can be critical to an image. To quote my own comments in the original thread "The selective DOF drew my eye to the faces of the foreground chefs and they are all so focussed and intense on the plates that the eye flows there naturally next and there it stops to linger over the image."
