A very special time of year

Postby gstark on Tue Dec 25, 2007 7:49 am

And so this is Christmas,
And what have we done?
Another year over,
And a new one just begun ...

So wrote the great John Lennon ... how many years ago was it ? .... and his words remain as reminder to all of us as to the true meaning of this special time of the year: peace and goodwill to all mankind.

As we sit down to enjoy our Christmas gifts, and our holiday fare, take a moment to pause and think of those who may not be as fortunate as we might be, and as to how we may be able to help them to enjoy something better.

All, please go safely, don't drink and drive, always consider the thoughts and needs of others, enjoy and share the good fortune that you enjoy, and make lots of images.

Note - no PotW this week, back on 1 Jan 08

Merry Christmas to all - hope you had a great year and that Santa was kind to you all. Keep safe and take care.

I see a great deal of talent from viewing the images on "our" forum so as Gary says "make lots of images" and put your talent to use.

Have a wonderful New Year too...

Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Strangely I have listened to the wonderful words and tunes of Lennon Legend today.

Ditto from me, best wishes to all in the forum.

As Gary said, spare a thought for us poor souls who are not as fortunate and still use a D70
