On the roadHello and Happy New Year to you!
This is about risk taking, danger and weather conditions if you are away from home. People were overtaking us in these conditions at well over 120Km oblivious to the danger to themselves and other road users and possibly annoyed that we kept to the speed limit. I wish you a Happy, SAFE and Prosperous New Year for you and your loved ones. I hope you like it.
Yes I had the unpleasant experience of being tailgated by a - to put it eloquently- 'tosser' in a white Mercedes yesterday who insisted on flashing his lights etc to get my to either change lanes or drive faster... I was in the left hand lane and already a few km's over the speed limit.. *sigh*..
I got the last laugh though when I spotted him several km's up the road being booked by a motorbike cop.. a quick pip of the horn and cheery wave later I was on my way.. The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Man that's completely different from down here Nice and sunny! Not looking forward to tomorrow though - 42 :S
Kyle, looks like she flipped him a Bindii Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
Come follow the rabbit hole...
Have driven this road for 18 years to Brisbane and back. Probably one of the worst major highways in Australia, if you break down there is nowhere to go except over the edge and I have seen many do so For eg; a trailer and car doing a 180 in front of me and off the verge into the bush at nearly 100kmh. I try to stay off it during holidays due to greater than usual number of maniacs. What is worst is B doubles and the torrential rain that occasionally occurs and being stuck behind one of them or more often passed by 100 speed limited trucks in these conditions while the speed limit is 110. Luckily my little Volvo cocoon keeps me warm and dry.
In the end we know Nothing, but in the meantime Learn like crazy.
