So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. The ChairTaken on a farm near a town called "The Rock". Ben is a guy who has had a very tough life, the owners of the farm give him lodgings for work that he does. He was taking a well earned break from the repairs to this chair. This shot was taken in the middle of the day, the temperature was hovering around 40, and there was not a cloud in the sky. The shed was stinking hot and Ben walked out for a quick smoke in the "cool shade" He was not keen to pose for a shot so this was a quick grab. C & C more than welcome Mal

Beautiful. The square crop works well, and you have great shadow detail as well. I'd like to see just a tad more contrast in the conversion to B&W, so that you have a bit more richness in the blacks. g.
