Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Washed awaySurprising how when you don't use your camera for a few months , you forget how to use it.....Not that I was particularly good then either
Anyway, went for a drive today and took the opportunity to get some practise. C&C appreciated. Warning - no swimming.... This isn't as sharp as I had hoped but I was standing on this little bridge and the water kept washing over it in waves and I'd already almost lost my thongs several times. I was worried I was going to be one of those 'idiots' you see on the news that was washed away in flood water while doing something stupid. I really didn't see the merit in taking this shot but the other half wanted me to. Probably explains why I think it's the least sharpest ("I'll do if to make you happy but don't expect a real attempt") : Thanks, L I'll try to be a bit nicer, if you try to be a bit smarter.
Pretty good series there LB. Can't offer too much criticism except maybe to have tried a few from different perspectives, ie very low down, at close to water level?
Couldn't have resisted paying you out if you ended up on the news. Great friend, eh?! Oh, where was it? Simon

Quite reasonable PJ stuff, particularly when presented as a series.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Would have liked to have gotten lower, but throwing the camera into the car was a last minute decision and I wasn't wearing field clothes
Friend? Who? Are you still jet-lagged?
Numinbah Valley. GC hinterland is one of my favourite places. I'll try to be a bit nicer, if you try to be a bit smarter.
Clearly!
Numinbah Valley. GC hinterland is one of my favourite places.[/quote] I thought it was in that area but I was thinking up in the Currumbin Valley. Simon
