Video lightJust wondering if anyone knows where I can get these.
I'm looking for the tungsten/halogen version and the ones on ebay are the LED version. Plus I need it to run on batteries for portabllity
Yes, light up a dance floor.
I saw this videographer using somethng similar. It was nice warm color and not cool and blinding as LED. Plus for outside work.
Ron you may want to have a look these guys

Actually this is what im looking for?
http://www.dragonimage.com.au/product.asp?id=1204 A bit steep. Would anyone know where else I can get one?
No idea.... but then I guess that sometimes you get what you pay for.. The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Further to my reply above, becarefull what you get. I would regard the Dragon gear as the cheaper end of the market so any cheaper (Ebay direct chineese copies) you will really suffer. Lights over heat and become dangerous to you and your guests, cables frey easily and battery life suffers not to mention some of them are real heavy to compensate for their ineffiecencies. A good on camera video light will be $400~600.

Re: Video lightHi Ron,
I just received my LOWEL ID light from B&H and I got a Bescor Battery - (heavy sucker but it gives me 4 hours at 50w and 1.8 at 100w). We could organise a small group and go out night shooting with a model with it if you want to see it in action - I'd also love a few plays before I use it at weddings. Jonathan
