Picture Of The Week - January 8, 2008Busy busy week as far as picture postings go.
Ya'll don't make it easy on us? Have you seen how much good stuff was posted this week?! Geeze. I have the honour of giving this week's Picture Of The Week to a Queenslander who around this time of the year was gracing us New Southerners with a bit of Welsh with his presence. It's crisp and clear and it really makes you feel as if you were out there. I love the image... now if only I liked beer. Congratulations Manta. Original thread here. Great choice.
Congratulations Simon, an image I liked from the moment I saw it. Steve.

A no brainer. This is one of those rare images which jumps right out at you. Well done Simon (and of course Leigh).

Congrats Simon, and nice choice Leigh!
It's a funny thing about us Queenslanders, living in the warm climes as we do. We never see snow here, so when we go overseas and find snow and ice we think it's just a giant Esky! TFF (Trevor)

Re: Picture Of The Week - January 8, 2008Congratulations Simon. Loved this shot from the moment I saw it. After all it does highlight 2 of my favourite things - snow and beer.
Well done. Good choice Leigh. As per Leigh's comment:
...but beer always does that to me.....

Re: Picture Of The Week - January 8, 2008Congratulations. I like the colour, sharpness, and the fact that the blur brings you back to the subject.
