travelling to australia

Hi there

I will be travelling to Australia from october 18 thru november 10 2004, and i am a new proud owner of a d70 with already 2 trips to nikon here for repair.
Since it's gonna be a trip of a lifetime i am a bit worried about having problem while in Australia so i'm really glad to have found this place hope you guys can help me out if i get into trouble over there.
Can't wait to be there see you soon

What repairs have you had done to your D70 so early on in the piece? Welcome to this awesome forum! :)

Had a complete replacements of the integrated circuitry, the cameras stop workinf after the first 8 pics, and then 1 months later the toggle swith didn't want to move the af zone anymore. Back to Nikon again for another repair. One smallconsolation they do the reapir in 4 days both times.
