I've had enough... *nods*... all this rain.. and if its not raining its windy and stuff..

I know.. I know.. we need it for the dams... *sigh*..

I managed to make it to the beach after work the other day for a few minutes.. the rain kinda stopped for a bit but as you can see by the 'sand haze' it sure was windy..

i thought that at the start but the hills along the beach just past the buildings didn't fit right ... they must be miles away from where they look like they are ...

long lens?

Well not hugely long.... I used the 18-200 very probably on the 200.. but its probably the erosion from the storms that confused you... I certainly got a shock when I arrived and saw it myself.. :)

Great photos!

Number 2 is a pick, but #3 is pretty close, it looks a little like in Hawaii? Don't you think?

Seems to me that the rain is doing your photography no harm at all. A cloud or two in the sky always adds a little interest.
Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?

#1 and #2 are the picks for me.

I love the element of the sand-haze in the first one, add something almost myztical to it.

The second is just great, colours, action, composition - all spot on.

Nice work. PS. The rain is starting to piss me off as well, and I've only been back in the country for 12 hours, and I'm not even in QLD! :ot: <- my Sony :p

I love number 2 and 3. The colours are amazing and the capture yet another grumpy Australian summer.
