Re: New Zealand LandscapesGood images Steve... the third being my pick.
I really like the composition of the second one, however the lens flare is a bit distracting. http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Re: New Zealand LandscapesBeautiful images Steve, brilliant colours I like the second one more, with the slow shutter speed and pastel colours ,NICE!!

Re: New Zealand LandscapesI like the first two because the colour, mainly. However, I think I would prefer the 3rd one also in colour. May be it is a colour picture
Re: New Zealand Landscapes#1 and #2 are great. I'm not sure what I'm looking at with #3, so I don't like it as much!
C&C more than welcome!

Re: New Zealand Landscapes
ha, make me want to go and visit Nz. Especially the second one. makes me want to sit down and wait for the sun to come up. D80, 50mm F/1.8, 18-70mm DX, Sigma 10-20mm
Re: New Zealand LandscapesOooh Steve .. those first two are brilliant.. I'd have either or both on my wall in a flash.. and I don't say that about many pics at all.. okay I never say it.. I'm so jealous.. I haven't been to New Zealand for a about three years now and must make plans to get back there in the near future I think...
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: New Zealand LandscapesThanks for the comments folks. The second one should have been the winner but it looks like it ended up with a bit of motion blur in the foreground which spoilt it a bit and as Xerebus has noted there is also what looks like might be some lens flare in there as well. I didn't notice it until I had printed the shot big .
The last shot is in colour not B&W as has been suggested infact I boosted the saturation a bit to try and bring out the foreground rocks. Anyway thanks for the feedback Steve
