Mate, I'm a fan of the DOF and composition in the first shot. Having the leaves in the foreground adds to the 'curiosity' the bird is displaying. It's an "Excuse Me! What are you doing?" kind of pose. Nice capture, lots of life.

there was a shift in exposure with a slight camera movement which gave me a slightly darker nexposure which also brings up the noise level....... still learning about this beast, but good fun...... it will earn its keep shortly Cheers ....bp....
